Creating a Masterpiece Women's Craft Event

 

We are excited to invite you to our Women’s Craft Event on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Ladies aged 13 to 103 are welcome to join us for a special evening filled with dinner, a devotional, and the opportunity to Create your own Masterpiece.

Registration opens on October 1, 2024. The cost is $5 to cover the food and devotional, in addition to the price of your selected craft, ranging from $5 to $25. For more information on the crafts available, please refer to the attached details. We hope to see you there!

Braided Yarn Pumpkins - Learn how to decorate a faux pumpkin using braided yarn, personalized for your fall & thanksgiving decor.  (Price: $20, Duration: ~1 hour, Available Seats: 15, Leader: Amanda Wright)

Christmas Bottle Brush Ornaments - Create a Christmas ornament that will feature a bottle brush tree and can be displayed on your Christmas tree or a small ornament stand.  (Price: $5, Duration: ~1.5 hours, Available Seats: 10, Leader: Trish Layne)

Christmas Scrapbooking Pages - Learn techniques and opportunities for preserving memories of your family’s Christmas celebrations. Crafters will bring 4-8 photos from previous Christmas celebrations to decorate 1-2 pages with other provided materials. (Price: $25, Duration: ~1.5 hours, Available Seats: 12, Leader: Pam Holt)

Christmas Wreaths - Create a Christmas wreath with various types of handmade bows. Perfect for your front door holiday decorations! (Price: $20, Duration: ~45 min, Available Seats: 8, Leader: April Crisp)

Custom Christmas Cards - Prepare for the holiday season by creating multiple handmade Christmas cards. Create them with a specific person in mind, or create general cards that you could share with anyone.  (Price: $10, Duration: ~1 hour for 4 cards, Available Seats: 10, Leader: Kathy Morgan)

Painted Ornaments - Prepare for the Christmas season by creating custom painted ornaments. Participants will walk away with three ornaments, perfect for personal decorating or sharing. (Price: $15, Duration: ~45 minutes, Available Seats: 12, Leader: Kristen Stevens)

Rag Wreaths - Create a wreath that could be used anytime of the year utilizing various fabrics. Crafters can choose the theme of their wreath based on their own plans for decoration/decor according to the fabric provided. The Basics of Watercolor - Participants will walk away with the basic knowledge and simple techniques of painting with watercolors.
