Choir & Orchestra Fall Schedule
Adult Choir and Orchestra are spectacular opportunities to serve the Lord in praise and worship. Adult Choir and Orchestra will rehearse on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm. Childcare (infants - grade 5) at the main campus is available upon request for choir and orchestra families. Worship & Media Serve Opportunities
The Worship & Media Ministry has several opportunities for you to serve! See the list below for options. Click on the title/header for details.
ADULT CHOIR
- The Adult Choir is for anyone college age and older. We love having a multi-generational choir!
- The choir meets for rehearsals Wednesdays at 6:15 pm in the choir room, located behind the Worship Center choir loft.
- To join the choir, you simply attend a rehearsal and information will be provided for membership.
- You do not need to be a soloist or know how to read music to join.
- We encourage new choir members to attend 2-3 rehearsals before singing on Sunday.
- After 2-3 rehearsals an interview with Mark Willard, Worship Pastor and choir director, is encouraged.
STUDENT CHOIR
- Student Choir is for middle and high school students in grade 6-12.
- The choir meets for rehearsals Sundays at 5:15 pm in the choir room located behind the Worship Center choir loft August - April during the school year.
- To join the choir, you can register online or if you choose to attend a rehearsal, we can register you in person. Click here for 2025-2026 online registration.
- You do not need to be a soloist or know how to read music to join.
- If you are unsure of your singing part (soprano/ alto/ tenor/ bass), there is someone who will gladly help you.
- Student Choir leads two major events during the year: Hanging of the Green, a Christmas production to celebrate the birth of Jesus, and Choir Tour, Mission led trip to spread the Gospel through song and service.
ORCHESTRA
- The orchestra meets for rehearsals Wednesdays at 6:15 pm in the orchestra room, #158, located at entrance #8.
- To join the orchestra an interview with Tim Bandy, Associate Minister of Music and orchestra director, is needed.
- To join, the musician must: be able to play at high school orchestra level minimum, play in all major and minor key, and be able to play every week at 9:30 am Worship Service.
11 AM PRAISE BAND
- For those who attend 11 AM worship and want to participate in worship ministry in an informal way.
- Open to men, women, and high schoolers who enjoy worshipping the Lord in an expressive way.
- The group does not have formal rehearsals.
- There is no formal audition. People interested in serving should contact the music ministry at or 256-881-0952, ext. 229, and prospective volunteers will have a brief conversation with the Worship Pastor, Mark Willard.
MEDIA
Media volunteers wanted! No experience required, all training will be given. Current serve opportunities:
- Audio
- ProPresenter Operators (lyrics and scriptures for the screens)
- Camera Operators
- Video Directors
- Service Directors
- And many more!
