Autism/Asperger Conference
October 24 & 25, 2008

The Autism/Asperger Conference will be held on October 24 & 25, 2008 at the Whitesburg Center of Whitesburg Baptist Church (7300 Whitesburg Drive Huntsville, AL  35802).  The conference is a gift to the community, and will be provided FREE of charge. 

We will have speakers presenting on subjects related to education, resources, intervention, living skills, and preparing for the future.  Some of the specific topics that will be covered will be wills and trusts, social skills, planning for the future, adolescent issues, medications, classroom and homework issues, behavior and eating issues, music therapy, sensory integration, and Autism in the church environment.

We invite parents, grandparents, teachers, Sunday School teachers, nurses, or anyone interested in better understanding Autism to attend the conference.  The deadline to register for the Autism/Asperger Conference is Wednesday, October 1st.  You can register online at www.autism-alabama.org/.  For questions you may call 1-877-4Autism and select option 2.
